These Terms of Service govern your use of herkinlife.com and any purchases you make through our site. By placing an order with us, you're agreeing to these terms — they're here to protect both of us and keep things clear from the start.

1. About HerKin
HerKin is a thoughtfully crafted lifestyle brand born from the bond between a woman and her pet. Every product we make is designed to serve both of you — because you both deserve care.
Our products are designed in China and shipped to customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
2. Orders & Acceptance
When you place an order with us, you'll receive a confirmation email right away. This email confirms we've received your order — it's not an acceptance yet.
We reserve the right to cancel or limit any order for any reason. This rarely happens, but common reasons include:
• The item is unexpectedly out of stock
• We're unable to verify the payment information provided
• The shipping address falls outside our current delivery areas
If we need to cancel your order, we'll let you know as soon as we can and issue a full refund.
All purchases are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for your items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Once your package leaves our studio, it's in the carrier's hands — but we'll always help you track it down if something goes wrong.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in US dollars. We do our best to ensure every price on our site is accurate, but occasionally a pricing error may occur. If we discover an error on an item you've ordered, we'll reach out before processing your order — you can choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Prices may change at any time without notice, but changes won't affect orders we've already confirmed.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Your payment is processed securely and we never store your full card details.
4. Pre-Orders
Some of our products launch through pre-order. When you pre-order, you're securing an item from an upcoming batch. The estimated shipping date will be clearly stated on the product page and in your order confirmation.
Pre-order timelines are our best estimate. If a significant delay occurs, we'll notify you by email with an updated timeline. You may cancel your pre-order at any time before it ships for a full refund.
5. Intellectual Property
Everything you see on herkinlife.com — our brand name, logo, product designs, photography, and written content — belongs to HerKin. We've poured our hearts into this brand, and these elements are protected by copyright and trademark law. Please don't reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without asking us first.
6. Limitation of Liability
We stand behind every product we make. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
• HerKin is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
• Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that specific item.
• For claims under $10,000, either party may bring the dispute in small claims court.
This protects both of us while keeping things fair.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. We believe most issues can be resolved with honest communication. If a dispute arises, we'll always start with a conversation — most issues are resolved this way. If we can't resolve it together, the dispute will be handled through the courts of Hong Kong SAR, or through small claims court if the amount in question falls within its jurisdictional limit.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our little brand grows. When we do, we'll post the updated version here. Changes take effect when posted. If you keep shopping with us after an update, that means you're on board with the new terms.
