Q: Will my cat actually use the pocket?
Most cats figure it out within minutes—just toss in a treat or a pinch of catnip. The enclosed den shape triggers their natural burrowing instinct. We've watched skeptical cats turn into pocket addicts in under sixty seconds.
Q: What if my cat's too big?
The pocket comfortably fits adult cats up to around 14 lbs when curled up. Larger cats can still snuggle at the opening and enjoy partial coverage. Small dogs up to 10 lbs fit completely inside.
Q: Will claws damage the fabric?
Normal kneading and nesting won't hurt it. The fleece is densely woven, so claws tend to slide rather than snag. Pocket seams are double-stitched. If your cat shreds furniture for sport, no fabric is indestructible—but this one holds up better than most.
Q: Is there sateen inside the pocket?
Yes—the pocket is lined in off-white sateen, same as the blanket backing. That's intentional: your pet deserves the same premium fabric against their skin. Shared comfort, literally. The smooth sateen is naturally hair-repellent and wipes clean in seconds.
Q: How does it hold up after washing?
It actually gets softer with every wash—no joke. Cold water, gentle cycle, low heat dry. No bleach, no iron. We've put ours through 30+ cycles.
Q: Is it waterproof?
No. This throw is built for comfort and coziness, not furniture protection. If you need waterproofing for a puppy or senior pet, layer a waterproof pad underneath.
